Knee length dress by belgian designer dirk van saene, from autumn winter 2005 - 2006. Made from a dark green cotton fabric, it has a large, allover botanical or floral print in a lighter green with red and white accents. The print seems to be of a painting, and a signature at the back (“dirk van saene 2005”) suggests it may have been painted by van saene himself. The dress has a point collar, buttoned front which extends to around the waist, and the collar and sleeves are made in a contrasting rib knit fabric.
