This embroidered Nungesser Emblem patch can be ironed on or sewn on. It measures 3.75 by 3.5 inches. It has white stitching on the black felt. The emblem comes from Charles Eugene Jules Marie Nungesser, a WWI French ace pilot also known as The Knight of Death. His silver Nieuport 17 plane was decorated with a black heart-shaped field, a macabre Jolly Roger, and a coffin and candles painted inside.
